Huum...it was either Disney or Einstein that said "The imagination is the preview of life's comming attractions."
It might be best just to give this a try! |

Love that one Joe! Imagination is the preview! Always something to remember....
Keep our focus on what we want not on what we dont want. It'll come true. Like Bill shared in a recent text - intention is powerful. The power of persistence cannot be underestimated. If you continue to hold your intention and continue to try, you will succeed. -Bill ![]()

I just dug this out of a blog I wrote a long time ago:
Out of the Archives... I wrote this in March of 2009...and was inspired as I re-read it this morning: Notes from the transformation battlefield! Day 76, 30 and 3 of 126... What a great time to review "future vision" "The most powerful thing you can do--the thing that will give you much greater leverage thanany action--is to spend time every day visualizing your life as you want it to be. We encourage that you go to a quiet and private environment for 15 minutes every day where you can close your eyes and imagine your body, your environment, your relationships, and your life in ways that please you. What has been has nothing to do with what will be, and what others experience has nothing to do with your experience...but you must find a way to separate yourself from all of that--from the past and from the others--in order to be what you want to be." --Money, and the Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks ************************************************** *************************************** "Personal leadership is not a singular experience. It doesn't begin and end with the writing of a personal mission statement. It is, rather, the ongoing process of keeping your vision and values before you and aligning your life to be congruent with those most important things...." "Dr. Charles Garfield has done extensive research on peak performers, both in athletics and in business....One of the main things his research showed was that almost all of the world-class athletes and other peak performers are visualizers. They see it; they feel it; they experience it before they actually do it. They begin with the end in mind...." "In effective personal leadership, visualization and affirmation techniques emerge naturally out of a foundation of well thought through purposes and principles that become the center of a person's life." -- The 7 habits of highly effective people Bby Stephen R. Covey. |

Two of my favorite sayings. And I believe it, I believe what we think, do and feel has a profound affect on the outcome of our lives. And only we can do that for ourselves, no one else can do it for us.
Nothing can bring down a positive mindset, do it relentlessly and regardless of outside influences. What we believe we become and we all need to take responsiblity for this forgoing any sort of blame or projecting outward towards others. Now go get em' ![]()

I love this thread.. I totally agree with all of you! We are today, the sum of our thoughts from yesterday ( I read that somewhere but can't remember where.. lol) If we don't like what we see, let's change our thoughts and expectation. Imagination is really a preview into our futures. We have nothing to lose by this. Wait, let me guess, we all heard the line, I don't expect much so if I don't get it I would be disappointed.. What a load ........I know it can sometimes be hard to remain positive and expect the best, especially when things seem to constantly go wrong. I believe that this is just life testing us to see how bad we really want something. I also have been thought to hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Not what I want to teach to my boys... I still struggle, on a daily basis, with keeping focused on the positive and expecting the best. But I will not back down or give up.... ever!. If need be, the battle must go on. History has taught us that the great leaders of ours and past times have set goals, focused on them and expected them to happen.. "Magically" they did... There are too many examples in my life that support this idea and I wish for and expect the very best in life for all of you!

Great advice
Great advice. I used to believe this was just wishful thinking but now believe that "thoughts are things" that can manifest our future. If that is so, why not think and therefore act postively. Keeping a log of future results can also allow us to see our progress and provide a roadmap to success for others.
