I just wanted to point out that with the new challenge set-up Bill has created, I think it will help the new and timid members tremendously!! It clearly shows that you don't have to re-invent the wheel. The cars rolling down the correct path and all you have to do is follow closely!!! Very well done!!!

I just wanted to say that I am excited to start this new plan. I got sick twice trying to do BFL and found out I had allergies to the BFL foods, whey, dairy, eggs, and more. So being able to do the plan with my own foods is awesome!

I am looking forward to "cleaning up" my eating habits and moving forward for 2010. I have let my eating slip over the past few months endulging in simple carbs and packing on extra weight! Congratulations to all the participants....we all rock!

Nutrition has always been my greatest problem! Loved all the information! Knowledge is power! I eat once or twice a day, sometimes snacking on bad carbs!! You don't even want to know how much water I consume!! I hate it!! None!! Not good for the diet and certainly not good for the diabetes! I'm really excited about this program. Through the lessons I feel empowered! I will succeed! There's no doubt! Thank you!!

This is great news!! I will be able to control the dips, the highs and lows of my blood sugar! Six small meals a day! I eat once a day and by the time I eat, man I could eat right into the next day. I do have type 2 diabetes and this is not good. This information will definitely be used when I create my diet plan.

This is the year all can change for the better for you! Please pick up Bill's "Eating for Life" book. My wife and I have used that cookbook for over 3 years and it is fantastic. It has everything you need!

Best wishes to you in 2010.

Well, I took last week to get into the transformation nutritional swing of things, so I think I'm ready for the challenge.

This morning I went to the store so I could re-stock my pantry with some good food choices and I plan on trying several of the EFL recipes this week.

Looking forward to seeing what my body can do in 18 weeks . . . I surely am!

Old But New Member

I joined last year but did not follow up but re-opened my e-mail on the exact same date as last year and found the new info to follow , am very excited and am ready to climb those mountains. I have my pictures but don't knoww how to post one, but will find out. I am not too computer savy. I think this new format will encourage many more people. I'm on board all the way. Will keep in touch.. I wish everyone success and a very happy New year and new healthy life. Thanks Bill for including us in this fantastic transformation family

It is great to have a clear framework and to be able to plan with our "own" foods to create it personally... I am both a lifetime Type 1 diabetic, and like some others, intolerant to wheat and other things I won't bore to mention ;-) And since becoming menopausal, have experimented and found that starchy carbs work best around workout time, otherwise progress stalls. That can all be worked into the Right 4 :-)

I am excited to really GET a flow with my nutrition this year, and I need to GET past addictive sugar foods with a commitment that becomes firm and lasts - it needs to be over. I need to surrender the fight in that area, and it's not gonna be easy.

SOOOOO... all of that as a prelude to say I am excited with the new Transformation, blessed, Bill, that you are offering us SO much here from all your research and writing, and like many others I know that in community and commitment, WE CAN DO THIS!!! Thanks to your guidance and loving support we can all start exactly where we are, and know that transformation goes for a lifetime when we make a commitment to change... I GOT IT... the key for me is commitment, and not falling into saying, "this is good enough" when the truth is... it's not working.!

bigmama - I noticed no one answered you yet, .... yes, 3-4 ounces is a good measure for protein for women, about the size of a deck of cards, or just go with the great meals in EFL cookbook if you don't have any food sensitivities to worry about - and the portioning will be all worked out already!
Bessings, Trish

I am going to buy the EFL book TODAY!!!!

Eating is sometimes confusing so I often eat the same things over and over again. This becomes boring and I end up eating something not good for me. I believe that with EFL I will get a great variety and not get bored and the food in the pictures look DELICIOUS.... My husband is at the store now picking up ingredients for a great salad for lunch....his idea not mine. I think he is really trying to support my transformation....lol. I think it is so important to have the support of those in your household since it makes eating healthy much easier. No more junk in this house!!!!

I'm ready to eat the Right foods, in the Right portions, with the Right combinations, at the Right times.

I know this is the RIGHT way that will lead me to my goals!!!

Thanks Bill for briniging the EFL info on our webisite community. I have read it several times and each time I read it I get excited all over again.
Why cant the whole world see it is THIS SIMPLE? You spell it out so well and make it so very easy to understand...I just don't get it. Thanks again for posting this vital information to the challenge! Wendy

Actually you could go a step further and add a 1 tbsp miracle whip free, 1 tbsp mustard, 1/2 celery stalk sliced, 1/4 red bell pepper, 1 tsp sweet relish, 1 tbsp fresh parsley, 1 slice whole grain bread, 1 lettuce leaf, 1/4 avocado, sliced. Pg 266 EFL

See if you incorporate a bit more than just egg whites and bread you will have a tasty meal that will leave you full and satisfied. When we eat healthy it's need to be nutritious & tasty as well. Eating healthy is fun!!
God bless

Congratulations Malika, my friend you will be amazed when we eat 6 healthy nutritious foods everyday. I know it gets confusing about what to eat but as you learn it gets easier and easier. Bill explains it very well, and if you still get stuck once in awhile please feel free to contact me and I can help guide you along.
I wish you the best in your journey to a healthier way of living.
God bless =)
