Way to go, Emily!

Lisa R, so glad to hear you listened to your pain.

Carin, I owe my exercise to you today. I didn't "feel like it," but I remembered I had promised all of my efforts would be dedicated to you, so I did it anyway.

3.7 miles on a cross trainer

Running total: 55.6 miles

32 miles in now.

All burpees are done. Last night I did all 25 at once. *whew* That was REALLY hard!

25 AM burpees DONE! 4.86 delightful miles on this sunny, warm December day! Pace was not so great (15m/m), but I multi-tasked with phone calls to friends that filled my cup of Joy and hopefully brought some to their day too. The walk actually seemed to make my headache less intense (or the tylenol are working), but my sinuses and eyes worse. Naptime EARNED!!

Balance remaining to cross the finish line = 1.64! I see the checkered flag and can't wait to run circles around it! :-)

Update: 25 PM Burpees Done!! Burpees are HARD today - but done and I am very proud of that. Thank you, Naomi, Sandra, Dave and all other spirit warriors!!!

3.3 miles (definitely not 100% with chest congestion, but I did it) + 35 = 38.3

A test a few days back showed signs that I have stress fractures in both feet, but for some reason unknown to me, I only got an in-depth test of my right foot. Sure enough, it came back positive. I started doing stationary bike today again, but don't know the miles I logged, because the machine was broken...

Anyway, congrats, Carin, on crossing the finish line.

I'll be out of town for a few days, so I won't be logging in.

Happy Holidays, everybody!!!!

35.03 + 3.47 = 38.5 Had to get rid of the odd amount of .03...haha...and again, as hard as it was to end on an odd number I did accomplish it in exactly 30 minutes!!! Right on the dot!!! Bought a kettlebell and oh am I feeling it!!! I need to work on a plan of workout and find some good examples of an exercise routine with it.

Home STRETCH!!!!

Here's the M&C Marathon mileage tally, as we come in for the home stretch!!! Please check my numbers!

I can feel Carin's trembling body next to mine, cheering us in, just as when we stood at that finish line in Denver. That girl's power and compassion is like none other.

We've been helping a friend shuttle horses, etc to south Utah - anyway, this is the last phase of her move to Texas.....and I've been thinking.....Dallas 1/2 marathon in March?

~~~~~~~~~~
Lisa (milez) - 27
LisaR - 41
Kathy - 43
Carin – 26.2
Naomi - 22
Sandra – 62.3
Jamie – 21.7
Christine – 26.25
Emily - 15
Bring it,
M&C Marathoners!!!
