8/27-8/28/11- The weekend is here!!

Weekend time...YEAH!!! Y'all know the drill here...please jump in this thread at least once and show your fabulous face to the rest of us. Post whatever it is you're doing...playing in the pool, mowing the lawn...whatever!! If you have pictures you want to share... POST THOSE TOO!! We LOVE LOVE LOVE pictures!!

I also encourage you to blog, even if its just one out of 2 days this weekend. Post your link here, like you do during the week. Staying accountable and connected is what helps us stay on track during the easiest time to derail all our efforts from the previous week. So STAY CONNECTED!! Also, for those of you still active in your 18 week challenge, be SURE to get those STEP ASSIGNMENTS completed and pop a link to those as well!! Take another step each day in the direction of those goals!!!

Have a FABULOUS weekend!!

Hello -- Saturday Afternoon - the only exercise I've gotten so far is walking the dog about 30 minutes this morning. It is another 100+degree day here in OKC...I think we are at day 55 of max heat days...a new record!
I have a work project this weekend so I've been staying close to my computer and phone but I think I'll go to the gym and get some elliptical in.
Pretty lazy day so far....and it is on the tail-end of the day.

My wisdom teeth (all 6 of them) are trying to ruin my weekend again. I have NO room for ANY of them, but I'm afraid of the oral surgery I need to have them extracted. 4 of them are fairly routine, but the 'spare' teeth I have are impacted so severely into my jawbone, that I will have to have my mouth wired shut for 3-6 weeks following the surgery. OWIE. So this is very much self-inflicted pain, but it sure hurts like HELL. I can barely open my mouth and all my glands on the left side of my mouth are inflamed and even into my ear canal. BLECH. It switches from side to side each time this happens, which is about every 4-7 months. Maybe this is enough pain...we'll see.

Other than that, we've actually been busy getting things ready for Parker's first day of school. I sure wish we could say Hayden was also going, but we can't afford preschool for him. Its INSANE how expensive it is for schooling in Las Vegas. WOW. No worries. Hayden is just as bright as Parker and we read and do many other educational things at home. He will be ready for kindergarten when its time. Needless to say, Parker is SO excited!! Thats ALL hes been talking about, and to ANYONE that will listen...the people in the check out line at the grocery store, in Blockbuster, you name it!!! LOL. I'm thrilled he likes school as much as he does. Hard to believe hes already headed into 4th grade...wow!!

The weather SUCKS here. Its well above 110 and because we're supposed to have thunderstorms, its INSANELY humid with that heat. We're pretty much socked in here in the valley and I don't like it at ALL. Today and tomorrow is what the weather is calling for. I sure hope it moves on sooner rather than later. The pressure change is horrible for my fracture lines and joints. I feel like I'm 89 years old!! LOL. Chris is sure getting a kick out of watching me though. What a punk!!

Other than that, we're enjoying time as a family. I hope everyone else is doing the same!! Have a GREAT Saturday night!!

Hello all!! I've been MIA for a few days, but I haven't gone anywhere... Yep still right on track. I did have a free day and a few misplanned days. All in all doing pretty well. As for this weekend thing you speak of... not sure how I feel about it. It's been SO nice here, everyone complains about how hot it is, well 80 to me is not hot... very welcoming actually. Well I've been working, and although I got to go to the fair last night I still haven't had a weekend. Such is live. I could attach a picture of what we did today, but that would be evil considering it involved a wedding and catering, Love you guys to much for that. Well off to get ready for tomorrow, HUGS!

Hi all, had a pretty good week until today. Got busy and missed a meal, then ate more than I should have at dinner. Then we decided to go to the movies ( If you have even a passing interest in racing, and "Senna" is playing anywhere near you, GO! ) and of coarse I ate a little popcorn. I would take it as a free day but we have a lunch thing tomorrow and who knows what will be available, I will do the best I can. I will check in tomorrow,

Youch, Jenn...My daughter had the same surgery a month ago with 2 extra teeth. I hope you have someone lined up to help you with things at least for the first week.

Hope you all have a good weekend!

Sunday ALREADY...wow!!

Tomorrow is FIRST day of school for my little men...hard to believe. I'm excited for them as well. Still not sure if financial aid will come through for this school they are having a 'day of discovery' at tomorrow, but we will continue to be hopeful. This would really be a GREAT thing for them both. Prayer appreciated!!

Looks like those of you who have checked in here this weekend, have enjoyed your time!! Thats what weekends are FOR!! I sure wish we heard from more of you!! Hopefully, as school resumes elsewhere, we will see more of you posting.

I'm in a HUGE amount of pain this evening, so I'm off to get tomorrow's thread done and then more tylenol and hopefully some sleep. I'll see you all in the morning.

Nighty night!
