--COURAGE doesnt always roar, sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day that whispers "I will try again tomorrrow"

I found this a little comforting and thought I would share it with all of you! Maybe you can look back and think of a time in YOUR lives when Courage just whispered...

Boy....

Ever feel like you don't have sufficient swear words for the day....yeah. That feels like the past 4 days for me...lol. Good thing shes tough and knows how to find her way back to positivity. Lots of hard work over the past few years to make it a NONavailable option for this girlie!!

Sorry I haven't been here each day. I was definitely here in spirit for sure. Life sure has a strange way of stealing time from places. Its about a miracle that I ACTUALLY get a workout in each day and I eat clean. I think I can chalk that up to good habit replacement therapy....maybe someone should offer that...LOL. Thanks Bill for that one, buddy!!

I still am not quite sure what end is up. Just taking each moment...and then the next. Making it through. Each day gets better and I feel stronger. I don't need someone to make me feel that way, and I was SO afraid I did. Someone sure built in the fire fury and strength monster in this girl!! Thank God!!

I hope all of you are doing well....sorry I haven't been here much. I am really hoping to remedy this imbalance in my life soon. I miss all of you....in a BIG way.

All my love-

~Jenn

Well... it's May... my busiest time of the year! Both of the boys have birthdays (can we say PARTY??!!), it's my busiest time at work, and usually there's another even thrown in there... wedding, christening, etc. This month is a weekend-long hockey tournament out of town. My weekends are booked-up throughout the month!!

This weekend, I'm having a Phineas and Ferb birthday party for my soon-to-be 6 year old! I am making a Birthday De-FUN-inator - an invention of the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz, where it's a box with a "conveyor belt" running through it. On one side, the cupcakes are going in... on the other side, cut up carrots and celery sticks are coming out. LOL!!! I also have insta-snow (for Swinter), we're doing the mummy wrap-up race (where you wrap your partner in toilet paper), "Where's Perry" scavenger hunt, and "Pin the Tail on the Platypus." For those of you not familiar with the show... this probably looks like a bunch of gobbledy gook. For those of you who have seen the show, it might be funny. :/

I started off the week with a bang... working out each morning, eating healthy, logging my food. Good stuff. I need to get off this extra weight and I finally feel like I have the energy and motivation to do it!!

Thanks, as always, for your support!!

Haa!!!!! I love this Jenn

Like we all are experiencing at the moment, it seems the days are Busy busy busy for this kid right now!

I did not get home until close to midnight last night and should be leaving again already instead of being here on the computer, but I wanted to check in and say hello. Nutrition is on plan. I was simply too tuckered out to do my lower body as I had planned for last night (my knees would not cooperate), so I at least made myself complete 100 Jumping Jacks (5x20) before crashing! I do this not necessarily for the "exercise" part but for my state of mind these days. If I do something, ANYTHING, then I am in a forward motion ..... albeit almost invisible to the naked eye!

Life is good and I am filled with joy in my heart because of the path upon which I am traveling --- crazy as the spinning world around me is, I am mentally in a really good space and I am so grateful for this peace of mind!!!!

Hi everyone!

I've been out of sorts lately! I think my ADHD is really kicking in and making me nuts and therefore, not getting ANYTHING done AT ALL! So, what do I do but go online and "google" all kinds of stuff on ADHD which only makes me more in the hole of not getting stuff done.

My ceramics class ends on May 14th and I have a lot to do, but I am having trouble doing it. Don't ask me why - I WANT to do it but my brain is just swimming in circles with chaos. I don't know how else to explain it. It's really makes me crazy - wanting to do all these things and then starting and not finishing them for whatever reason of which I have no idea. I've even been on meds for over a year and I really wonder if they are doing anything at all or even making me worse?

I thought I needed to keep away from the computer, as that's a big distraction for me and that's why I haven't been posting here in a bit. SOrry to be whining but I had to stop in to check and say hello.

I haven't exercised all week and I'm sure that's not helping with my brain, either, although I have been pretty good (not great) with my eating.

Terri - that Phineas and Ferb party sounds awesome! You're so creative! I can't wait to hear how it turns out! I hope you are getting back to "normal" after all those weeks w/o your thyroid meds!

Tara - glad to hear you are on a good path moving forward

Jeannie - thanks for hanging in here when we all haven't been; I'd love to hear more about your photography business you want to start. What kind of photography do you do/want to do?!

Jenn - One day at a time for you! I hope you are straightening out what you need to and look forward to hearing more of what's going on with you. Glad you are keeping up w/the exercising!

I was trying to hang in there Susanna...I SO TOTALLY HEAR YOU with the ADHD. I have ADD (which I guess is called ADHD without Hyperactivity now) Im just having a really tough time focusing. I dont have much time, lots of work left to do with the reception tomorrow and all. I didnt think my nephew's graduation would be this stressful for me. I did go my entire day yesterday without having a soda which is a HUGE deal for me. But for now--back to work!

Hi Peeps!

Just did a catch-up read one everyone here. I'm still working my way through a few things here. Still trying to get Dad to sort himself out! Work is about to run out for us again so praying God will send more our way. Eliza has been rather ill for the past few weeks so we have been trying to get on top of some issues there. Sunday here and a gloriously warm autumn day. David has gone with my cousin to a wood festival at a beautiful place about 40 min drive north of us, called Maleny. It is in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. A bit of 'bloke time' for the boys. Eliza and I are meeting my 2 sisters at the Queensland Museum today to go and check out the Egyptian mummy on display. Lunch at the art gallery cafe beforehand. We are trying to start a little girlie tradition here where we get together every so many weeks to do something. Mitch is judging gym comp this morning and had a big day yesterday with his own morning training, then off to comp to be on the floor as coach for one session then a quick change into suit and tie to judge.

I had my official starting 'weigh and measure' on Friday. SHEESH!!!! Gotta start somewhere with the statistics! Managed to reach that goal last week of doing my cardio first thing every morning.

Son
