Jeannie ~ Thanks for creating this thread!! I am grateful to find the Ravioli torch still burning!!!!

I am like you Sonya... journaling my food is key to any success I experience. When I sluff off that critical component, I have learned that I begin to go backwards pretty darn quickly. The very first step I always return to when I have detoured off the path is to pick up that pen and start writing down what goes into my mouth. (Because I've also noticed that food journaling is frequently the first area that I stop following through with) No punishing judgement when I write down things --just observation of what I am up to. 'It is what it is' and I try to own it as gracefully as possible. See, for me self-honesty is very important when I am working on change, and unless I write down what I am eating it becomes very easy to deceive myself ... and so ultimately, I wind up shying away from personal responsibility for the choices I am making (even if they might honestly be unconscious ones).

I finally read a scale number in the 100's today! (199.8) Slow and steady .... slow and steady!!!!
(I was 218 at the end of February and 210 at the start of this challenge)

Let's make this a great week everybody ---- there are six more weeks of this challenge and with focus we can be feeling really good when we go into summer ---- and, our summer shorts and swim togs!!!

Hi, Pasta Peeps!! Count me in with the tracking food... I started last week and have lost 2 lbs. I can honestly say that I didn't do as well this weekend as I was planning, but the plan is to do better this weekend.

This past weekend was my son's 6th birthday party. We had a Phinneas and Ferb theme. He had so much fun, he told me this morning, "Mom, when I turn 7, I want the same party again. It was the best!" (Sweet success !!)

Here's a picture of Andrew opening his presents...

Tara - Wwooooo hoooo!!! You are rockin' it, girl!! Keep up the great work. I'm so proud of you!

People who know the Phinneas and Ferb cartoon will appreciate this...

Dr. Doofenshmirtz's "Birthday De-FUN-inator" - Cupcakes go in (zapped by laser gun, veggies come out... NO FUN!). That's my hubby dressed as the evil Dr. Doofinshmirtz....

just something I came up with / TheEnchanting1's posts / Bill Phillips Transformation
Not my 20/5 or really anything, just a poem--I didnt proof it like I usually do its straight from my head to the screen. I dont usually do that, I usually polish it a bit before presenting it so here is a rare look at my raw poetic style before I tear it up and piece it back together with prettier glue!

I BELIEVE with you guys Kimberly!!!

My Mom is a 2 1/2 year survivor of Pancreatic Cancer. Your Mom sounds like my Mum ....
I personally struggled with hope for my Mum after the painful defeat we experienced following my husband's courageous battle with Melanoma. My Mom believed for me until I could.

As she said back then .....
"Somebody has to be in that 3% and I AM GOING TO BE ONE OF THEM!!!!"

This is where it must start if it is going to be.

Stay strong!!!!! You are, and will continue to be in my heart.

Did my weigh-in today. I've lost 3 lbs and 3 inches in the last two weeks. I'll take it!! i'm telling you... logging everything is key for me. Do I like it? Not really... but it works.

Kimberly - I'm sending loving thoughts and prayers to you and your mom. ((((((HUGS))))))

Tara - Good for your mom!!! She has beaten the odds!!
