Transformation Assignment #8

My lowest-level habit is the failure to give myself consistent feedback on this journey.  External motivators are a fantastic tool to "get moving"....but then what?  It has to come from within!  I had hired a personal trainer, but that became a built in excuse.  "I...

see ya on the boards today and wanted to inquire about your transformation, You really did alot of soul searching on the last assignment you posted. I pray things are moving forward for you and you are experiencing a peace as you dig deep and fill yourself with the things you long to give others. Keep at it! The work is hard, but the rewards are FANTASTIC

What a sweet avatar picture! I'm so glad you found your way to our community. We can help you achive your goals if you let us. I'm very proud of you wanting to be the example for your precious children. They model our actions more than our words. Please let me know if you need anything; I'm always around! ~Sharen~

Hi Christopher :<) - I Too just read your week #1 assignment. I had to go back myself and re-read some of the assignment to get refocused after 6 weeks on my challenge. Keep doing the assignments and reading them often - it really does help to keep working the inner transformation. Live strong for yourself and to inspire your children. You can do this, Paul :<)

Just happened to sign on today & just happened to see your Transformation Assign #1 message... I just wanted to say "Thank you" for sharing. Parts of what you said hit me hard - I can relate so much... seeing you have hope - gives me hope. It was the exact right time for me to hear what you, a stranger, had to say! Guess God talks through people to people? Again - Thank you.

Perfect headline man!! There's a reason they recommend you do it that way on airplanes. You can't help others if you don't help yourself.

I Am

My headline isn't meant to come across as selfish. It's intent is to remind me that in order to be credible, I must have my own house in order. I am Christopher McCann, father of three wonderful sons, mentor to some people and a student of others. I care about helping others growing further, achieving their goals, and helping them evaluate where they are and where they would like to be. Now it's my turn.

My Favorite Charity

Muscular Dystrophy Association

To me, Transformation Means

dying daily only to be born again.

My Goals

2007 was a year of significant achievement and heartbreak for me. I accomplished many financial goals, lost my 2 year old son only to have been reunited 369 days later. I've quit smoking yet have seen my overall physical health deteriorate. It is time for me to invest in my SELF. My boys are counting on it! So..... my goal is as follows: to become STRONG, an example of physical well being for my sons, spiritually significant, mentally strong and vital. I want to improve my ability to reflect and rid myself of draining relationships. I want to be independent while continue being dependable.

My Intentions

are to get bolder, better, faster, stronger...

Who I'd Like to Inspire

Holden, Zachary and Jack. I want to inspire myself, my parents (esp my father), my siblings, my peers, my coworkers, my clients, my neighbors, the unrecognized, the individual out there that I may never know found inspiration in my words and actions...
