Beginnings

My first blog - ever.  For most of my life, I have felt dumpy and huge.  I've wanted to be one of the jocks, the skinny people, but could never seem to get there.  I believed that it wasn't possible for me.  It was only something attainable by the popular people.  I spe

Thanks for your nice comment on my 12 week pics. It's great to have that kind of support in here. I read your profile...saying that you think of yourself larger than you really are. Looking at your pics, that really is just a story in your head because you are not large at all. Stay focused and be patient my friend, and you will hit your goals in no time. One of the hard things for me is being patient, waiting for the changes to occur. But, I know that if I just keep doing what I am doing, the changes will come. Best of luck, and drop by any time...Rich

I Am

first, a child of God, second, a loving husband, and third, an educator. While what and how I educate changes, I still love teaching other people and lifting them up. I also have a song and a book in my heart that need to be written sometime soon. For most of my life, I have looked at myself and being larger than I actually am - mainly because I wasn't as fit as the other guys around me. In the past years, I've learned the truth and am fighting to keep from thinking those self-defeating, confidence-destroying thoughts again. I don't want others to go through that when they don't have to.

My Favorite Charity

Simon Ministries

To me, Transformation Means

a complete purging of all unwanted, undesirable qualities, features, characteristics, and thought patterns that hold me back from achieving my fullest potential.

My Goals

1. Lose at least 25 lbs of fat. 2. Gain at least 10 lbs of muscle. 3. Lift 45 lbs with biceps and triceps. 4. Lift 20 lbs with delts. 5. See both V-tapers.

My Intentions

My intentions for joining this site are to connect with other people who are making a significant change in their lives and, in turn, help be a positive resource for others.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

People who have looked around them and then at themselves and figured that they can never achieve their goals. People don't stop you from achieving, your thoughts do.
