One of the ways I love to share Christmas with my friends is in this song. Can't sing it to you from here, but I can send you the lyrics... :) Oh Holy Night Oh Holy Night The stars are brightly shining It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth Long lay the world in sin and error pining 'Til He appeared and the soul felt its worth A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. Fall on your knees, Oh hear the angel voices. Oh night divine, Oh night when Christ was born Oh night divine, Oh night Oh Holy night Fall on your knees, Oh hear the angel voices Oh night divine, Oh night when Christ was born Oh night divine, Oh night Oh Holy night Hugs n Prayers MERRY CHRISTMAS Jackie

Found this today so I thought I would share it with my t.com friends. Hugs and Prayers Jackie Even though circumstances may cause interruptions and delays, never lose sight of your goal. Instead, prepare yourself in every way you can by increasing your knowledge and adding to your experience, so that you can make the most of opportunity when it occurs. - Mario Andretti

Wow thanks for the friend invite! Why have I not met you sooner?!?! You are an amazing inspiration with your drive and passion for transformation. Glad to know there are other former BFL'ers on here who also have struggled in the past. The obstacles you have to overcome with workouts and food you seem to be doing SO well with. Its all about choices, and if you can control how you handle what life gives you your already winning. So I am proud to call you a transformation friend for sure! Look forward to getting to know you better as we BOTH reach our goals and reach higher to our best potential. :) -andrew

Hi Jenny: I've been meaning to stop by and say welcome to t.com and Clarissa's group. It is such a great and healthy place to be. Have a great weekend. I'd try to say something smart with the couple of Japanese words I know but I'd probably mess up and insult your family or something (LOL) - Rich

Sakura Sakura. (That's one of my favorite Japanese folk songs. Enjoy those cherry blossoms! :-)) Again, welcome to T.com and to Clarissa's transformation support group. It is so nice to have you here! I love your photo of the rice fields, by the way. Very cool.

I Am

Hi everyone - my name is Jenny. I'm 28 years-old and currently living in a small farming town in Japan, teaching English to junior high school and elementary school students. I love my job and consider myself to be one of the luckiest people I know!

I began Body-for-Life at 22 years-old when my weight ballooned to 154 pounds (I'm 5'5") and I lost 21 pounds on my first challenge. I chose to let the weight come back and the next time I did BFL, I got down to 125 pounds and have hovered there ever since, for five years now! Fitness is an important part of my life. Not having a gym in this small town, I saved up until I could afford an elliptical machine and some free weights and I choose carefully what I can eat (food options are a bit...different here, haha).

At the beginning of this year, I chose to stop smoking (I'd been smoking for over ten years), and leave alcohol behind me. I am extremely focused on who I want to be when 2011 strikes, which is basically: a motivated, passionate, honest, strong person who is a strength and uplifter to the people she cares about! But most of all, I want to be these things for myself.

I have always followed Bill and remember seeing his Transformation book appear on Amazon.com, and then seeing the release date pushed further and further back. I'd pretty much let him slip from my mind, until I found this website "by accident" recently. I didn't even need to finish reading the terms before realizing that I'm supposed to be here. Thank you all for welcoming me!!!

I care about: choosing positive/empowering thoughts over negative/destructive thoughts, pushing myself further every year/day that I am lucky enough to be on this planet, not harming anyone I come into contact with, and constantly improving myself. Laughing is definitely my favorite thing to do. Audrey Hebpburn said: "I believe in pink...that laughing is the best calorie burner...in kissing, in kissing a lot...and that happy girls are the prettiest girls." I don't think it can be put any better than that.

My Favorite Charity

Make-a-Wish Foundation

To me, Transformation Means

Transformation means the process of making the still-small voice inside become the big-strong voice inside AND outside. Transformation, for me, is coming into alignment, and engaging in the never-ending process of expansion of the individual and collective identities. Transformation is cheerfully and diligently becoming all that I can be!

My Goals

1. To be my fittest, happiest, strongest me
2. To look the way I've always dreamed of looking but always stopped myself just before I got there
3. To truly understand that there are no limits
4. To be a cheerful, optimistic (and perhaps slightly annoying) spouter of positive words and actions

My Intentions

- I intend to overcome my past self-sabotaging habits!
- I intend to feel and look the best I ever have!
- I intend to be a powerful, kind pillar of strength for others!
- I intend to implement these changes FOR LIFE!

Who I'd Like to Inspire

Most of all would be my mom. She's struggled with weight ever since she had me (28 years ago!) and has had three knee surgeries, making it hard for her to work out. But I know she can do it! It's so difficult to be in Japan and be so far away from her. I know if I was home that I could inspire her to get going. I want her to know that she's infinitely stronger than she thinks she is!
