I Am

I am Chris Rodgers. and I am a man in need of a savior. I am a good man. I have come so far in my journey just to learn that the journey only begins when we stop walking. I am a husband, father of 3, caretaker to 1, friend of many and lover of good. I seek to love regardless of the reason and pray that I am a blessing to others as so many have been a blessing to me.

My Favorite Charity

St. Jude

To me, Transformation Means

Transformation to me means that my life is irrevocably changed. It means that I am less of who I was and more of who God calls me to be. It means that I lose the parts of myself that are too far gone to be called good and let God fix the rest. Transformation does not mean that I would develop a hyper-personality, physicality, spirituality, or ego but means that I would change simply because I need to. It means that I would be more aware, more present, more cognizant to my surroundings and less cognizant to the desires of myself. It leads me towards the step in life where I can simply learn to stop making rash judgements, decisions, thoughts or motions, and simply wait... Transformation brings me to a place of peace and allows me to know why I am here. Only one can transform me but you can help the growth...

My Goals

I have two sets of goals for myself. First, I want to be in the best shape of my life, however, I want that to happen starting from the inside out. When I started the challenge with T.com last April, I did amazing things that I had never done before. I impressed so many people, however, somewhere inside, I found it was sufficient only for a short while.

My goal is to start to let me go. Not in the way that I lose what I had but in the way that I gain so much more peace because I drop looking at measuring myself verses others. I stop sizing me verses them. I want to be the absolute best father that I can be by being present in my kids lives. I believe that I have become so much greater of a man than I was before. Now it is time to step up the anty.

Physically, I want to get to a place where I am absolutely fit, endurance and strength. I want to be known as a man who doesnt lose his temper nor does he think irrationally. I want to be a man who is focused and defined in this intentions.

My Intentions

I intend to light the world on fire with my enthusiasm for healthy living. I intend to live a life that is worth being emulated. I intend to be a good friend. I intend to be a worthwhile father.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I want to inspire the world but I need that to start with me. I know that I am so far away from where I want to be but I want to inspire others to understand that they dont have to change who their core is in order to be transformed. I want to inspire them to use the basic tools that God gave them and let the change come from within. I want to inspire others to smile, love, or be excited.
