Hi Kathy, It's such a nice thing to have people welcome me right away. And it is very inspiring to read of how they are transforming their lives. I notice you just had an anniversary - hope you and your DH had a nice time. MY DH and I had our 25th anniversary (MAN - that makes me sound old) over a year ago and we are still waiting to celebrate it. Have a great day. Joyce

Hey Kathy, Just felt like dropping in to say YOU ROCK! I think you are an amazing asset to this community and pray for a weekend abundant in obvious blessings for you (all days are abundant in blessings, just somedays it's difficult to see them) May you breeze through the weekend on the accomplishment of a great challenge completed. Congratulations on your certification too. :)

Kathy-Congratulations on your Personal Trainer Certification. Thanks for sharing the video on kettle balls-very interesting. My teacher stressed the importance of being creative & the more certifications you have the better. Funny I recieved my diploma from National Personal Trainer Institute the same day you posted you passed your test=must be a big month for Personal Trainers to become certified. I am looking into a new degree=Wellness, Health Promotion, Injury prevention with the pathway focus in Exercise Physiology. Maybe finish off my Associate degree RN in this Bachelor degree if they offer evening/weekend classes. Feel your excitement about continuing to pursue health & fitness opportunites. Keep going strong! ~Kathy

I Am

Kathy - I live in Texas. Happily married to my first (and only) love David, who I married 11/12/05. Took me a little while to find the love of my life but he was worth the wait. We are proud parents to 3 4-legged kids, Kyra and Xander are Amercian Eskimos and Kirby is a Cocker Spaniel. I love the Body for life program and this Transformation website/family - I am blessed to have met some of the wonderful people from EAS and the Body for life Challenge Champs and Challengers such as BIll Phillips, Kelly Adair, Artemis Limpert, Linda Catlow, Abb Ansley and Porter Freeman. The challengers and championsI have talked with (or typed with) such as Minna Hobbi, Pam Brown, Michael Harris, Sylvia Bortman and the many people on the Transformation site and the BFL guest book have been a wonderful source of inspiration, information and motivation. I hope I too can be like these people and help others.

My Favorite Charity

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society - In memory of my mother

To me, Transformation Means

To physically, emotionally and spritually create the person that I want to be. To inspire in other to be the best that they can be. Transformation is not always easy but it is worth it. I have made some big changes in my life but will continue to change to evolve into the person I know I can be. I truly believe that we are a continual canvas for progression therefore we are continually transforming. Transformation is a journey not a destination!

My Goals

I have lost 140 lbs and am currently working to lose about 30 more lbs but more importantly drop my body fat percentage and get more toned. I recently become certified as a personal trainer and my next step is to get certified as a wellness coacn. I personally deal with arthritis and want help others with the same issues. I want to continue to raise money for the LLS and children's charities. My mom as diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma just 3 weeks after my wedding in 2005. She lost her battle in June 2006.

My Intentions

Who can I help today??

Who I'd Like to Inspire

Everyone - I want my hubby to be even prouder of me. I want my siblings and other family members to live a healthier lifestyle. I want to have all my clients living a healthier and more fit lifestyle. I want everyone to truly see their inner beauty. So many people do not realize how wonderful they truly are!
