Monday 3/15/10

I was able to make it out Saturday for a 4 mile run.  I did pretty good, not quit as good as last week though.  My shin is still giving me a little issue but I think my body just needs a little more time to adjust to that much running again.  I will keep the distance the same for awhile before I decide to add to it.  I think I am starting to notice some small changes….I can see the resemblance of some muscle under the f...

Monday 3/8/10

I am very happy to report that I made my goal of getting in 5 workouts last week, WooHoooooo!!!!  I got up and dressed at 8am on Saturday and went for a 4 mile jog :-)  I did better than I expected and found my distance groove about have way thru and felt GREAT!  My breathing was awesome even without my inhaler.  Yesterday we took the boys to the park and played catch for about a half an hour or so.  I can feel it in my a...

Monday 3/1/10

Tuesday 2/23/10

Went to the doc yesterday and they are treating me for allergy induced asthma.  So I will be adding a daily inhaler twice a day to my Claritan and now have an emergency inhaler as well if the others are not cutting it..... The inhalers are making a huge difference, WooHoo!!!!!  I feel like a whole new person :-)  I am still going to give everything a full 24 hours before I attempt a workout just to be safe ...

I am still coughing up a friggin lung and started having some funny breathing issues so I have a Dr’s appointment scheduled for this afternoon.   The breathing thing is feeling a little restricted and nothing too bad.  I don’t get panicked or anything when it is going on but it is time to see what a doc says I think.  Too bad my doc is not available until Friday so I have to see some other guy….. or actually...
