Fellow Wacoan!

I've never been a huge Country music fan, although occasionally a song will catch my ear and hold my attention.

I heard this on the radio on the way home from the gym tonight, and couldn't figure out who it was. 

I kept thinking it was Sister Hazel, possibly Kid Rock, but neither of them sounded quite right.

When I got home and Google'd it I was really surprised to find that it is Pat Green.  Especially since it didn't sound very much country (Although Southern Rock, yes..) He's from Waco and lives probably 2 miles from my parents house.  It's not unusual to see Pat Green t-shirts in Waco since he's local and sort of hit it 'big', at least by comparison to other Waco musicians.

The songs lyrics are appropriate to how I feel about all of you guys.  Sure this is about a guy and a girl, but it doesn't necessarily have to be :)

Anyway, here's his 2003 "hit", Wave on Wave.  I dig it.
