Strengthening My Prayer Life
Isn't it great when God hits you with an amazingly simple yet awesome idea? Tonight I began my strength training workout as I normally do. I pulled out my plan, prepared my weights, and got to work. It's a fairly quiet time when I workout in the evening. The kids are in

When You Just Can't Seem To Do It
This post comes from an email conversation I had this morning. I felt it was something others could benefit from too, maybe. You know what really has helped me this time around? (I've never finished a challenge before - heck never even made it half way!) I feel like my h

Hi Sara...I know this summer has been hectic for you and I'm sure school is getting ready to start. I miss your sense of humor as well as your inspiration and insights. Hope you have a great week.
I just wanted to say Hello! GO HOMESCHOOLERS! I homeschooled my now 10th grade son from 1st grade through half of 7th grade and another son for kindergarten. It has been my experience that homeschoolers are a very unique group of can-do individuals. I also know from experience how easy it is to focus completely on your children, especially when you are a mom and homeschooling. While so very rewarding it can also be very difficult. Homeschooling requires a very special combination of skills: patience, perseverence, independence, courage, time management, a sense of humor, brains, dedication, love, faith, focus, ... If you can homeschool-- you can do anything! You all are super heroic! The challenge for me would have been to set aside the quiet time needed to focus on the Transformation plans for the day for myself and to put me on the list with the kids. It seems like the Transformation process is a great opportunity to teach nutrition (science), meal planning(economics), cooking recipes (measurements/math), fitness (science), and physical education with the kids. It would have be fun for me to incorporate all of these things into their curriculum and activities. Have fun! You all are awesome!!
Just t stopping by to say hi have a great day.
thanks for your comment! I hope you are doing good as well. ~Bobby Grimes

Funny how the very 1st person I connect with on this site is a fellow Army spouse! I hadn't read your profile until after I sent you the message. We are indeed a special and unique breed! I look forward to corresponding with you!
I just read that you are the creator of Homeschooling group on this web site...I wanted to stop by and say hello, and introduce myself....I'm Val...a fellow homeschooling mom....and I could relate very well to your intentions about wanting to be a better wife, mom, teacher...etc...and also, setting a plan in motion to loose some weight, and become stronger...more healthy all the way around....thanks for your courage to step out and do the homeschooling group...I know it will be a blessing for those on this track....God's best to you....
SARA! Wishing you a fantastic and gorgeous Sunday! Have a beautiful week my friend. :)
Sara - I wanted to say congratulations on hitting that milestone today...the 200 mark. You must be so incredibly proud of yourself. You are such an inspiration already. I've been down lately (duh LOL) but today I got up at 6am and hit the gym for a few hours and felt SOOOO good. So I know what I need to do and I prayed to God to please help me remember that good feeling to keep me going. You really inspired me...so thank you and keep up the awesome work. Like Dude said...NEVER QUIT! ((( 200 hugs!))))) ~ Bella
Sara: Thanks for the invite. Together we move forward.
Sara, Pics are in my photo gallery!
Hi Sara- Hey, I went to my Beth Moore study today on "Living Beyond Yourself." She talked about starting your day with going to God with first, you confessions, and then your concerns. I think that I will encorporate this into my workouts. First half I will do my confessions (Lordie, this might take my whole workout!,) and then my concerns to finish it out. I just loved your blog, again, it's so refreshing to know someone out there who thinks along the same lines I do. Just wanted to share~Amy
