YES, TOTAL BUMMER I'll be away when you're in NYC. And what makes it exceptionally bizarre, is that I will be in YOUR town! Life is testing us. We'll have to plan a weekend away! Seriously..... Love you! Lynda

Hello! My name is Sandra, and I live in the Greater Orlando area. I just joined Eric and Debbie's team. I noticed you said you live in Tampa. My husband's from there! Anyway, wanted to wish you a pleasant one! :)

How was dancing? How is Scottsdale? How are you feeling? I'm here if you want to talk. I'll be home today after 4:30. I know how hard this decision was for you to go on steroids and I want to know if there is anything I can do to support you? Love (read a hug between the lines) Debby

WOW My Sweet Lynnie! You sure are "Dressed for Success"!! Planning for a trip is SUPER important. The times I do it, I rarely come back without regrets and I often feel proud that I was able to stay on track with my nutrition and exercise. I hope things went well for you in NYC on the dancing competition (?) That sure is more than a Marathon of exercise. WAY TO GO GIRL!!! Enjoy AZ and soak up good sunshine!! Sending you Energized Hugs, Yoly

Hi Lynnie, thanks so much for the encouraging comment. I've been amazed and inspired by people like you who reach out this way to people they don't even know. Looks like you have really made a transformation and that is inspiring too! I look forward to getting to know you better in Eric & Debbie's group. Blessings, Charles

I Am

I AM ON THE MOST INCREDIBLE JOURNEY OF MY LIFE!! I am a wife to a wonderful husband; a friend to many; a nurturer; an advanced practice nurse and a ballroom dancer. I wear a lot of hats.!

I love to make people laugh or smile . . .to let them know I care . . I love to make a difference.

It is important to me to always strive to be the best that I can be. I am making it a priority to care about how I feel!

Before transformation I thought of myself as a nice person that would always be overweight and tired. Since Transformation, I envisioun myself as a ballroom dancer

and an athlete!

My Favorite Charity

make a wish

To me, Transformation Means

I believe transformation is the journey of belief. Evaluate where you start and map your path to where you want to be. Accept the starting point; without beating yourself up or placing blame. It's where you are. Often we need to start at the bottom in order to climb to the top--I know I did!!! The beauty of life is that if you don't like where you are, you can change it!!!

Transformation starts with a goal and a belief. If you can't find that belief in yourself, borrow someone else's belief in you! The map is the program used to achieve the goals. The transformation is the metamorphisis that occurs along the amazing journey.

The wonderful thing about transformation is we always have the ability to change where we are and adjust our goals. This gives us all amazing power!!

My Goals

My life has been an ever changing journey. I recently moved from Arizona, and this was my favorite expression and the theme for my transformation:

The rest of my goals include:
1. Feel Good! My daily goal is to find a way to feel good no matter how hectic my life is!!

2. My plan is to exercise 6 days a week and decrease body fat to 23%.

3. My goal is to compete with my amazing instructor in a major ballroom dancing event and place in the top 3 in 2011 (DONE!) and compete 3 times in 2012 with improved technique and flexibility.

4. Make new friends and to encourage others in their transformation journey through daily participation in groups or blogs and welcoming newbies.

5. My goal is to run/jog my second half marathon in Denver on October 9th--by the way--I am not a runner!!! (DONE! 2 half marathons in 2011--I am going to complete 4 half marathons in 2012!!!)

6. My goal is to find my happy and hold on to it!

My Intentions

My intention is to live a lifestyle of health and fitness. I will strive to enjoy my journey! I also hope to inspire others to believe in themselves and their power to be the best they can be!

In the past, I have turned to food for comfort in times of stress. Being a "friend to the fork" is over! It is my intention to learn to be my own best friend and to help others find a friend within themselves.

Finally, I will live the attitude of appreciation and with BELIEF!

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I would like to inspire everyone that is striving to achieve better health and wellness. It doesn't matter where we start, it matters that we focus on our finish line and take the steps needed to get there. I believe that others can learn from my journey and I know that others will inspire me along the way. We can all do this TOGETHER!
