Assignment #7 - Weekly Review

E-center... let me think... we saw Bare Naked Ladies there, and then also the Cure. Had really great seats, esp for the Cure (though I don't know that there's a bad seat in the house - it's really a nice venue.) On the Denver half - AWESOME! You can do it! Hey Maxer, We belong to the same church! Pretty cool. A BFL finalist, that is awesome. What kind of interpretting do you do? My husband interprets in the courts occasionally too for the deaf. I Am

a clinical social worker by profession. I am 31 years old. I did the BFL challenge in 2002, and became a top 2000 finalist. I have been married for 6 years and have two daughters (ages 4 and 1). I enjoy exercising, traveling, playing poker, and practicing American Kenpo Karate.

To me, Transformation Means

changing those unhealthy thought patterns and beliefs that have kept me from maintaing a healthy life style (and physique) in the past. It also means getting in to and staying in great shape.

My Goals

Challenge Start Date: 03 January 2010
Challenge Finish Date: 08 May 2010

Start Weight: 281 lbs.
Start Waist Line: 48"

My goals for the 18-week program include to lose 51 lbs and to lose 12 inches around my waist (to weigh no more than 230 lbs and have a waist no larger than 36").

I had my body fat percentage measured on January 29th. It was 31.3%. One of my goals is to cut that number in half (at least).

My most important goal is to acheive a positive emotional/spiritual change so that I can maintain the physical change.

My Intentions

I will work out six days per week (the 4/2 plan).

I will attend two karate classes per week.

I will eat 5-7 balanced meals per day (including vitamin/mineral, omega 3, and whey protein supplements).

My free day will be on Saturday.

I will dedicate at least 15 minutes per day to spiritual reading, meditation, and prayer.

I will e-mail, text, or call a friend for support at least once per day.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

My wife, children, friends, family, and anyone else who comes to know me.
