I Am

I am recreating myself each day, learning more and knowing less as my spirit opens to the path that will lead me to realize my potential. I'm in love with the uniqueness of my friends and family. I am a loving and supportive wife. I am a "mommy" to 3 dogs and 3 cats.
I am a strong woman determined to achieve my goals while recognizing the successes and abundance that I have right this minute.
I will love myself and accept others. With the help of my Higher Power, I wll enjoy achieving a healthy spirit, mind and body. However, I wll learn to drop the oars of fear and will go with my natural stream of faith in myself.
I will embrace my true identity, breathing love of myself in like the relief of oxygen flowing into your lungs after holding your breath underwater in a murky pool of stagnant water.
I am accountable for my words, my actions and concentrating each day on alignment with my ever-expanding spirit.
I have an identity; I don't need to try to hide behind work.
I am unique and overflowing with beautiful energy and gratitidue.
I'm not perfect, but I AM accountable to be the change today.

My Favorite Charity

Planned Parenthood

To me, Transformation Means

Thanks to a T.com member asking me what Transformation means to me, I'm revising this area.
Since joinging the program, my initial thoughts have changed. I think it is important for me to revisit who I am, what tranformation means and my goals as they are changing by learning, doing the assignments and digging deeper into that mysterious mind.
My Mom always says, "If you don't have your health, you don't have anything." This is an 84 year old woman in perfect health who recounts hilarious stories from the depression. A family of 11, they had nothing, but they found a way to have fun.
Since my health issues became more serious and started to noticably impact the quality of my life, a light bulb went off in my head. I understand now that if you don't have health--physical, mental and spiritual, you don't have anything of true subsequence. I have a chronic condition, but if I do everything in my power to reduce the negative impacts, i.e. keep pushing myself and my doctors to negate as much of the impacts to my life as possible, seek mental and spiritual clarity, you HAVE HEALTH.
Each day I must take care of the three aspects of health.
Therefore, tranformation to me is to remove the "dis-ease" from my body, my mind and my soul.
I discover areas every day where I need to reinvent my thoughts, values and actions. It's mind-blowing that when I started, I thought so many obstacles to gaining physcial, mental and spirtually health were out of my control. I've started weeding out these little lies...
I am accountable to transform not only for myself, but for my family, freinds and others in this world that need help, guidance or just a small act of kindness. In a way, what has happened to my physcially is a blessing. I hit my "bottom" with my life. In addition, I may be able to relate or help someone because I do have this condition.
As the inventory of my inner self increases in depth and breadth, I'm sure what tranformation means to me will "transform" ;>) This is a process--not an event, Right?

My Goals

My goals for 2009 are to,
Stop using work to hide and distract myself from personal growth that I need to put first.
Stop using my career as my identity.
Improve my health---Quit SMOKING
Excercise as much as I can with my health condition and learn that I don't need a cigarette as my "warm up"
If necessary, learn to live with my condition and stay off the pitty pot.
Learn to not be rulled by fear and the approval of others--stop beating myself up.
Embrace and rekindle the creativity that I've lost over the years.
Stop isolating.
Be STRONG again--keep up the good fight!
Learn something new each day.
Get to the point where I can give to others individually or volunteering for causes that are near and dear to my heart.

My Intentions

To be healthy, happy and strong. If I am in a good place, I can give to others, which means a great deal to me. I want to give to the community, namely children.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

Children and teenagers.
