It sounds like you have a lot of great reasons to live a healthy and happy life! I just wanted to stop in and say hello and welcome to T.com! Let me introduce myself-- I am a stay at home mother to 6 crazy and beautiful children. I accepted the challenge in Jan. and have dramatically changed my body, mind, and spirit in the last 18 weeks! I lost 30 lbs and 17% body-fat, but I also lost a lot of fear, self-doubt and disappointement in myself--and for that I will ever be grateful to T.com and the wonderful people on this site who selflessly supported and served me through my transformation. I'd love to get to know you as we both transform! If you have any questions or just need help getting started, I'd love to help. Hope to hear from you, Leslie

I Am

I'm a middle school language arts teacher who needs a lifestyle change. I need to change from the inside out. I am proud mother and recent grandmother. I care deeply for my family, friends, and students. I wish I cared about myself as much as I do others.

My Favorite Charity

St. Jude's and the Ronald McDonald House

To me, Transformation Means

The process of change. It is like a tadpole. He knows deep inside he is a frog, but he still does not understand. When the process of change begins, it is very difficult. It is hard to let go of what you thought you were and become what you were intended to be. The road is difficult and it has both mental and physical challenges, but in the end the tadpole becomes a frog, and we become the person God intended us to be.

My Goals

1. Change my perception of myself and others.
2. To become the person God intended me to be.
3. Become healthy mentally and physically.
4. To get back the person I lost along the way! (Me)
5. Enjoy life to its fullest.

My Intentions

To become a better Mom, Daughter, Wife, Friend, and Sister. I want to become a better person by starting from the inside and working my way out. I want to lose weight, not only the physical weight but the mental weight. I've carried the weight far too long.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I would like to inspire my family, friends, and everyone I come into contact with on a daily basis.
