Hey Wayne!! It's great to have you back!!! The crutches....well.....quite an interesting story of Tucker not paying attention to his surroundings and wanting to sneak up to the dining room window at night when I was in the kitchen to TRY to scare me and he totally stepped right into the window well and messed up his knee!! We always are hiding and scaring each other (immature I know, but fun :)) and he had his eyes on me since I was facing the window and just stepped where there was nothing solid! I can just imagine the look on his face when he stepped and there was nothing but air. I felt pretty bad because he's a senior this year and a varsity football player and he ended up missing the last three games of the season. OH well, live and learn life's tough lessons!! His main sport is baseball and he'll be all healed up by the. Anyway, great to see you back as well as me! I've been absent too, but as long as we return it's all good. I'm looking forward to doing the holiday challenge with you and everyone else too. Have a fantastic day!!

I will not lie....I've been out of touch and feeling out of sorts and I KNOW it's because I've been all 'off track' AGAIN! What is wrong with me??? :) I wonder that often Wayne, but I know i just NEED to get back here on a regular basis and reconnect! I Am

...a husbad, father of 2, and a police officer, I am someone who knows that being the yo-yo that I am is not healthy. I am someone who has decided to make the changes that need to be made. I am someone who promises all of You that those changes Will be made. I am no longer a quitter!

My Favorite Charity

National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund http://www.nleomf.com/

To me, Transformation Means

Spending quality time with my family rather than lazy time. Keeping myself safe so I can come home to my family every day. Being able to show more patience when it counts. Losing all my excuses. Riding my first century and becoming my departments first ever bicycle cop. Being proud. Eating properly. Having more energy. Understanding the compassion I find difficult to show.

To me Transformation being able to smile!

My Goals

To embark and embrace a complete Transformation of my body as well as my mind and soul which includes reaching a weight of 210lbs, improving my attitude and outlook on life and accepting a new understanding of spirituality!

My Intentions

I intend to surprise myself just as much as I surprise everyone else. When I participated in the BFL Challeneges a few years back I did it silently throughout my cycles. During that time I also wore the same windbreaker pullover jacket everyday whenever I was to be around people so noone would see what I was doing as easily. I had some people ask if I was losing weight and I would would usually just shrug and claim I wasn't sure. The day I completed my first 12 weeks and showed up around people without the windbreaker most were shocked at the changes and some shocked that I removed the windbreaker. The feeling of accomplishment I had back then is my superficial intention for the Transformation. My true intention is to lead a healthier life and inspire by example my son, Eric who is 9 years old and is beginning to follow in my bad eating and activity habits. As of this writing I am in my 3rd week of my Transformation and today i had noticed that Eric was asking if his meal choices were healthy - he even ate his mixed veggies (carrots, green beans and zuccini) without a single complaint or problem which nearly gave me a heartattack (Reese's can't give me one but Eric eating veggies sure can)

Who I'd Like to Inspire

First and foremost I wish to inspire my 9 year old son, Eric. Before starting my Transformation I often found myself distraught over how I would be so short tempered with anything he would do. Now just 3 weeks into my transformation I am already finding myself being more patient with him and he is smiling more towards me. Beyond Eric, I would like to inspire those in my community (where I live and also where I work), enabling them all to realize the self satisfaction gained through self accountability. I would also feel great inspiring those people I call "Yea Butt"s. These are the people of whom I often have been a part of. They are the excuse riden people who 'Yea Butt' out of everything - if I can make just one 'Yea Butt' stop and say "Yes, I will" I will feel great satisfaction!
