Welcome! I've started running mountain bike trails but have yet to get the nerve to take my bike out on them!! I'm slowly working up to it!! I watched the Olympic Mountain Bike race and that looked brutal!!!
It can be brutal, but for me thats half the challenge. I'm alright as long as I don't wreck! Crashing really sucks, especially at 42 years old. Luckily I've never broken any bones, (knocking on wood).
Biker I like reading your comments and look forward to getting to know more about you. You laid smack on a 14 yr old thats too funny and sadly all too true in today world
Yes it is, but the cool part is he's really in pretty good shape. He wrestles year round and also play football. He just don't have my cardio conditioning apparently. To bad for him, haha.
Thank you all for your thoughts and wishes. I know I will get to where I want to be. The only real struggle for me has been the sweet tooth I inherited, but I am slowly getting a handle on that.
Wow... Welcome MountainBiker! Love the music... I can picture you peddling to those tunes!!! Good luck with your goals and your transformation! Glad that you are here!!! ~ Shelley aka frat "Mom Shelley"
