Hi, Mark - Thank you for you "stopping by." I admire your goals and know that working as a Marketing Director for a hospital is stressful and challenging. It's no wonder you have high blood pressure! Stay focused on your transformation and reach out to the many strong hands here willing to help. Your goals are worthy of achieving and your success story will be fun to read. Blessings and wishes for success. Jackie

Thanks Nancy, I'm actually subbing for other instructors Wed and Thur, so I'm looking forward to it. The Director asked me tonight if I would be willing to take on another class, to which I said sure. It's a lot of fun and a great part of my transformation. Mark

Good to meet you...I work with Carol Gray, the creator of "Social Stories", a method of teaching social skills to individuals with autism. Together, we created a new DVD series called "Storymovies". These are DVD movies that have brought some of her printed stories to life. You can learn more by visiting www.storymovies.com. If you would like your sister to get a DVD just let me know. They retail for 89.95 and 149.95 but I can send her one for no cost, just let me know if you're interested. Thanks, Mark Also, spread the word to others that are a part of Transformation.com and I'll see if I can do the same thing.

I Am

I am a husband, the father of three wonderful children, 24, 19 & 14. I'm the Director of Marketing & Advertising for a large hospital in South Carolina. I'm also the President of The specialminds Foundation. I have a passion for developing communication resources for families of children with autism. I also love directing and producing television commercials and social skills videos for individuals with an autistic spectrum disorder.

My Favorite Charity

The specialminds Foundation

To me, Transformation Means

Living a longer life. I've been living with Type 1 Diabetes for 20+ years and coming to realize that I have to do even more to remain healthy. At times I forget that I'm not like everyone else and cannot eat and drink anything that I please. I also have high blood pressure, that's under control, but know that if I get too far off the path, I'm in danger. I want to feel better all of the time, as opposed to just some of the time. I need a full transformation for not only me, but for all those that care for me.

My Goals

I need to lose at least 15-20 pounds of fat, gain muscle, and re-energize my body. I am so much more effective when I'm at my best.

My Intentions

To take this One Day at a Time. I want to not only have a plan but to stick by it. Everyday I will complete certain tasks that go to fulfill my ultimate transformation goals.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

Men and Women in their 40s who want to look and feel better but don't know how to accomplish it. I want people to know that having Diabetes is not the end, but rather even more reason to take care of themselves.
