I Am
ALIVE!
I have come from the darkness into the light.
It gets brighter every day!
I am a "BFLer" from 2001
Shortly after my 1st challenge I became pregnant with my fitst daughter, Isabella Rose.
At nine months pregnant, 1 week before she was due, she died.
She was stillborn on 12-3-01.
Not too long ago, I was a lonely, depressed, hopeless woman.
I used to "hide" from the world & I lived in fear, I was afraid of trying to move forward.
I realized that it was no way to live.
With the help of this site & the people here, I am finding my way.
I love my family, I love my life & I LOVE Transformation!
This is the beginning for me. It took me a long time just get the courage & strength to move forward & NOW I am ready!
I am excited to continue on with my Transformation.
I am no longer in hiding.
I no longer put happiness on hold & I work every day to live in the present & enjoy every moment.

To me, Transformation Means
It isn't about "changing". It is about bringing out your true self. Who you always were & who you were always meant to be.

To find my courage Nov 2009..guess what? I found it!!
On July 29, 2009 I will be 40! *done~! LOL
NOW is the time *I* get to re-write my life story! I am a woman inTransformation who is determined to make the 2nd half of my life better than the first! No longer a victim or just a surviver, I will live life to the fullest!!
Goals:
I will trust this process, I will trust that if I do my best, & never give up, I can & will achieve great things & live a life I have never even imagined. I want a life of peace, happiness & love. *Ongoing!
And most importantly, I will be the mother my children deserve. The cycle of pain ends with me. May they never know the pain of my past. I will do my best to raise healthy, confident & loving individuals who will one day do the same & on & on.
Again..the cycle ends here, now, with me.
This is a lifelong journey for me.
In the end, I just crave the simple life
Don't get me wrong, I would love to look good in a swimsuit too!

I want to live near the beach some day
I want to spend a Christmas in New York with my family (never been there!) I used to want to live there, but as I get "older" I am thinking it may be too late for that..so a nice visit will do
Sometimes I dream of selling everything I own, packing up my family & just travel around for a year or 2 & homeschool along the way & work as we go to pay for it! so cool
I am sure there are more dreams, that I haven't even been able to think of yet...I look forward to those too!
Next up: Dallas?? LOL not sure yet!
2009 I found hope
2010 is dedicated to helping others here find their hope again. Every workout, I do it for YOU. Every meal, I do it for you! I take Bill's assignments to heart. I want to show others what is possible. I am willing to work hard to get there. If someone else can find hope again in my journey then I too am blessed. Having a purpose outside of myself is what it is all about.
This year I go for my DREAMS!
I have a goal to be in the best physical shape of my life! On May 9th I will weigh 130 lbs & wear a size 6/8. My home will be organized & a peaceful & fun loving environment for my family.
I will participate in as many Transformation events that I am able too.I need to recharge my soul's batteries & these events certainly do that! I will improve my running so I can run for as many causes with the Transformation Team that I can.
I will walk the walk. I am not much of a talker, I am more of a doer & NOW it is time for me to DO. I will lead by example.

I ran up to my room to shower yesterday and came back to the lobby to give you guys a hug, and asked if anyone had seen you, headed in that direction, and I couldn't find you guys, so I'm sure I just missed you. How was your journey home and your homecoming?! It was SOOOOOOO incredible being in Dallas with you guys and journeying the course of the 1/2 Marathon with you. I absolutely valued every minute. Leann, Thank you so much for the reply to my blog. It was a really hard one to write. If it means anything, I didn't sense any kind of social awkwardness from you at all... you seemed SOOOO together! I know that you make a good point in how far we have both come... I guess I just thought that I was further along maybe? Hey Leann, Jorge and I would love to get together for dinner with you and Brentt and some of the other folks around here! We should be around on the 27th.
