Transformation Firsts: Jet skiing, lake swimming and sky gazing
What a great day!!!
Being on a jet ski was amazing today, I felt like a little kid! That is not me below and I always had one or two kiddos on board, but it looks like how I felt! Even when one of the skis broke down on Anna and I halfway across the lake, we had a ball!
I even did something I haven't done since the last time I was on water skiis, probably 15 years ago...swam in the lake. Lake water is sometimes a little gross and there was algae brushing my legs, but what fun floating on my back, listening to the kids splash around me and use me as a floating device.
Then I got to lay on a big towel in the sun, watching the wind in the trees. That is so blissful and I have not done it in soooo long! I hope to spend more time laying on the grass, looking up! :)
