Mary - Decided to log onto t.com for the first time in a looong time... Sorry for the lack of response to you. I did finish my 70.3, but it was not what I had planned for. The 90+ heat got the better of me and I was completely dehydrated by about mile 40 on the bike. Was holding strong with a 18 mph pace and then the proverbial wheels fell off the bike. Legs started cramping and had to go into conservation mode. Once off the bike I could not run more than .10 before I started cramping up.. I was taking in more hydration than normal on the bike, but it was clearly not enough.. Lessons learned for next time. I'm flying back to AZ to volunteer for IM AZ in two weeks and then signing up for IM AZ 2013. Good luck on your IM next year!! Joey

I Am

I AM... Mary!
Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, Friend, Artist, Athlete, Student of Life, Inspiration for all... Caring, Passionate, Loving, Compassionate, Grateful.

I AM HEALTHY and STRONG to live the life I know I can!

My Favorite Charity

Autism Research Institute~ in honor of two beautiful nephews who fight Autism daily. Locally ( in WA) NBA- Northwest Behavioral Associates. Where my godson and nephew receive much needed therapies specifically for children on the Autism Spectrum.

To me, Transformation Means

BEFORE TRANSFORMATION: I am so proud of the woman you saw back in June 2009 because she had the STRENGTH to seek out inspiration when she was so desperately in need.
She was in physical pain daily, depressed and had no passion left in her life.
She had the COURAGE to literally JUMP head first into the challenge and try her best to eat and begin an exercise program that she could do with her physical limitations at the time.
She was CONFIDENT enough to continue when struggles arose.. and they did.
She NEVER gave up HOPE and continued when she didn’t think she could.
I COULDN’T BE MORE PROUD OF WHO I WAS.. because I now know deep down inside that HER BEST QUALITIES NOW SHINE IN ME. NEVER stop BELIEVING in YOURSELF...

TO ME, TRANSFORMATION MEANS: Being passionate about everything I do, who I am and who I hope to inspire today and in the future. Keeping myself on the path. Continuing to learn, grow and strive to be the person I was intended to be...inside and out!

My Goals

TRANSFORMATION Life Goals:
1. Live each day to be the strongest and healthiest that I can be, inside and out, so that I can inspire others to live with passion and be their best person!
2. Be an example to my daughters, Isabella & Alessandra, and all young girls - what it is like to be a healthy woman.

June 2009 (39% BF) - December 2010 (14.8% BF)

2012 HHC - 12 week Challenge Goals:
1. Spend dedicated, quality time with my family, every week!
2. Strong inside and out: Weight 145 lbs.
Increase muscle while reducing bodyfat.
3. Train healthy in swim/bike/run for my 140.6 full Ironman triathlon in August 2013.
4. Volunteer weekly & make even a small difference in one life each day.
5. Work with our BELIEVE! Accountability Group each week online &meet with Pac. NW/Seattle Group locally each month.

12 weeks from today, looking at my pictures you will see a healthyand strong woman who radiates joy and peace, is living fully in the present, inspired daily, passionate about life, faces any fear that comes to her, givesmore than she receives, is employed with a career that is in line with herlifetime intentions, and grateful!

My Intentions

Live to set an example for others. Loving, caring, giving, hopeful, strong!
My lifetime intentions are to live the life I was intended to live.
*I will continue to learn, help others, and be an advocate for children.
*I will set daily and long-term goals to continue to be strong inside and out while growing spiritually.
*I will give back in any ways I am able, share my artistic gifts, and inspire others to find their true passion in life.
*I want to look back and know I lived a life full of love, passion and faith… always giving more than I take from others.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

YOU, my family, friends and anyone who feels the way I do about becoming a stonger and healthier person inside and out!

EVERYONE CAN REALLY

FEEL THIS GOOD!!!
