I had a chance to meet Wayne Dyer and hear so many of my other favorite authors including Greg Bradon, Doreen Virtue, Lisa Williams and Caroline Sutherland. I Am

My name is Bobbi Jo and I am an alcoholic. I have been sober since November 15, 1989 and am blessed that God is in charge of my life. I live a life of service to other people who suffer from alcoholism, yet my weight has kept me from being of maximum service for the past 5 years. I am also a teacher - I work with special education students age 11 - 14 and I love it! A gift of sobriety was finding my true passion in the work place, which is working with students other people believe can't learn and helping those students be successful in the general education classroom. I love my kids! I am a mother of an 18 year old beautiful, ginger headed boy named Jon who goes to college in Oregon. I am a wife of 19 years to my wonderful, amazing, patient husband Rick. It is amazing that he has put up with me for so long. I love him! I am an animal lover - 2 mini toy poodles, four cats, 3 finches, 2 rabbits and a tank full of fish. I am a daughter - a much better one now than 10 years ago! I am a sister - to my wonderful brother Colm who I love very much. I am of service to anyone who needs me as that is what God would ask me to be.

To me, Transformation Means

My transformation purpose is to directly align myself with God's will and be available to serve Him in whatever situation I am presented with. Ihave a responsibility to share what I have been so freely given. My health and weight have been an obstacle that have trapped me in my own little world. Transformation means breaking free, becoming healthy so that I can have an impact on those around me, a positive impact. My transformation purpose is to align myself with God's will for my life - not trudge in darkness. God is everything or He is nothing .. .to me He is everything!

My Goals

1. By the end of 18 weeks I will have lost 20 pounds. 2. By the end of 18 weeks I will wear a size 14 and be able to shop in the regular section of a clothes department 3. By the end of week 18 I will have made 8 ammends 4. By the end of 18 weeks I will be doing 4 cardio workouts - NO MATTER WHAT! 5. By the end of 18 weeks I will have successfully finished my research class and will have finished chapters 1-3 of my thesis. 6. By the end of 18 weeks I will have raised $1000 for Autism Speaks and completed a 5K walk for them in San Diego.
