Susan, thank you for your comment on my run and your blessings on my first marathon. I will NEVER forget the first 1/2 I ran in Dallas this year with Transformation (on my birthday no less :) it was incredible and I felt like a million bucks when I finished.. well after i got a drink :). We decided to fly our girls there to see me finish so they can see their mom complete such a huge task.. as they are my cheerleaders on my long runs and are so wonderful for my support. With the course, it looks like they will be able to easily see me several times if they can find me :). Thanks for your support and hope to be able to meet you someday soon! Mary

Hi Susan, thank you so much for your well wishes. I am so grateful to be connecting to such wonderful people. I am so pumped up to finish this challenge. I did the Body for Life Challenge in 2002 and got some great results even though I didn't finish. My challenge is I think more is better. I have put many many hours a day in working out and never achieved the result I wanted. I think I was just overworking my body. It is hard for me to truly believe that these people are getting amazing results by such little time at the gym and of course great eating habits. The eating is easy. It's the exercise that I think I'm not putting enough in. Oh well, I am determined to stick with this for spiritual reasons, not so much exterior anymore. I am looking forward to seeing your Step One posted. It makes it more real when you write it. Take care, Eddie

The shiritaki noodles are an amazing thing!!! Just like pasta or tufu, it is up to you to flavor it. I've only eaten it twice now, but I'm looking forward to trying new ways of serving it! You can google it. Seems like I even found some You Tube videos about it. I bought another kind of noodles that is made from sea vegetables and is one 6 calories per serving! I havn't tried that one, yet, but I can't wait!

Susan, are you interested in having a Tri-State Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois Transformation Book Study? I would like to to get one organized and may go ahead and post to see if I can find others interested. We could meet 1-2 times a month at a book store or restaurant. Jan

I Am

I am on a continual journey to be the best person I can be physically and spiritually. I have had great success here at Transformation and also know that I have so much more to learn. I love my family...my amazing husband and our two children. I care about the health of others and what is happening to our bodies as a result of overindulging on so many things.

My Favorite Charity

People in need

To me, Transformation Means

Making a change for good...a new and improved person...inside and out.

My Goals

To know and feel that I am in God's will and where He wants me to be doing the work He has laid out for me. I want to make a difference in the lives of others here in this community as well as my home community to encourage healthy life choices.

My Intentions

I will eat as much raw and green as I can add each day. I will drink plenty of water. I will continue to train for half marathons..2 a year minimum. I will strength train 2 times a week. I will volunteer at Evansville Christian Life Center to help the poor in our community and continue to hold my heart open to what may be laid in front of me. I will stay in God's Word and in prayer daily. I will continue to educate myself in the field of nutrition...enrolling now.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

My husband, children, family and friends....and those I meet along the way in life. Our time here is short and I want to embrace every minute of it and help others to do the same
