I know it shouldn't surprise me by now, but it always does! So I was in this important meeting at work and was going to completely miss the show. When the meeting finished it was already 5 mins after the end of the show, but I thought I'd dial in anyway. I end up talking to Bill for about 20 mins. Then I get back home tonight and listen to the show and realize that you were on 15 mins before me! We have this uncanny knack of always being on the show on the same evening! Just like we both arrived in Dallas at exactly the same time! You did awesome on the show by the way! Cheers, Paul.

Bill! Loved your two cooking videos! Thanks for sharing those! They were just what I needed! Now I know what to make for dinner tonight - the Thai wraps! Billie did a super job behind the camera and I loved her ad libs, "there's still a lump of pb..."! I saw that lump, too! LOL! Maybe I'll try making a cooking video, too. Have a super day! Susanna

Okay, I've been trying to figure out who you remind me of. After looking through so many photos of the Dallas Summit, and seeing you in many of them, it hit me: you look like Jake Gyllenhaal. :-) (And that's meant as a compliment, so I hope you don't dislike how he looks or anything.) You and your wife are too cute!

I Am

First and foremost, I am ALIVE! That word continues to carry new meaning for me every day as I work through this process! I am also a husband (StingrayBabe is my amazing wife!) of 14 years and a father to 3 wonderful children who bless me each day. I care about the future, and I work on that each day locally, but I think globally.

I am the Change

My Favorite Charity

Save Darfur

To me, Transformation Means

What the mind conceives, the body achieves. Transformation is Body, Mind, Heart, and Soul all caught up in an "upward spiral". They work in concert to propel us to our fullest potential. Transformation is opening yourself to the process and surrendering the egoic fight. Transformation is a challenging, but incredibly rewarding journey!

My Goals

My 2010 Transformation Challenge goals: By 5/8/10,

- I will weigh less than 180 lbs
- I will have a 32" waist
- my body fat will measure 8% on the bod-pod
- I will run a half marathon in 2 hours

I will achieve these goals by working out 6 times a week and also by following the Eating for life nutrition plan. Achieving these goal will help me with my larger purpose of inspiring and transforming those I live and work with to enjoy their healthiest year ever in 2010.

Additional goals I have for 2010 are:

- EXPAND our Health Accountability group at work to other work groups
- Earn certification as a personal trainer
- Read 3 times each week
- Write/complete 2 books (My Transformation Experience, La Trattoria di Bella Nonna)
- Progress in "cracking the code" for the WFSP issue (Women/Food/Serotonin/Protein)

To improve every day and to be an example of true transformation, inside and out. I have an ultimate goal of being worthy of the title "Champion".

My Intentions

To faithfully and purposefully continue the journey, to shine as an example and an inspiration.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

My family, my friends,my colleagues. Anyone who has ever felt uncomfortable in their own skin. Anyone who has felt completely overwhelmed by the maze of nutrition and fitness misinformation that's out there.
