Hey, Miss Teri Bear, how's the homeschooling so far this year?! I think I'm finally comfortable with this whole thing and realize if we don't get history and math every day, my kids will still be fine learning to keep house or bake cookies. ;0) Have a wonderful week! ~S~

Hi Teri! I can relate with how dissatisfying work can sabotage a good nutritious eating plan. Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. ~Christine

Thank you for the supportive comment on my blog. I have done so much healing to get to here, but obviously, there is still more to do!!! I love the fact that you are dancing!!!! If you've read some of my info, you know that I am in the process of reclaiming the dancer part of me. Seems late in the game to do so, but we only have NOW!!! It has been suggested to me that I would love belly-dancing and have had an initial talk with a teacher who teaches all ages and all sizes of people!! She says yes also. So I may, with great examples of others who do this despite age and less-than-perfect bodies!! I do know that the feeling of being a dancer has never gone...it is who I am!! I love how you signed the post, with "Shimmysister". Enjoy the dance!!! Pauline

After-chat was an amazing experience for me tonight! It was very humbling to feel so much love! My heart isn't used to feeling that much amount of unconditional love so I can see I'm going to have to get used to that around here! Love you! xoxo Bella

I Am

I am a wife, a homeschool mom, a daughter, a teacher, a friend, a dancer, and I want to know who I am in addition to all the roles I play.

I care about loving people and I am learning to love myself as well. This is part of that process.

My Favorite Charity

SOS - Service over Self - A housing rehabilitation ministry in the Binghampton neighborhood of Memphis

To me, Transformation Means

Becoming whole. Learning to be fearless. Living without self-imposed limits.

My Goals

To remove 36 pounds of scale weight within 18 weeks, 24 within the first 12. To learn one bellydance choreography well enough to perform it for others (get past the fear) within 18 weeks. Also, within 18 weeks I will help at least one other person begin the BFL/Transformation Challenge.

My Intentions

On October 23-25th 2009 I will be in Knoxville for the final weekend of my first Transformation cycle. I will celebrate my accomplishments thus far by participating with the BFL Team at Race for the Cure and attending the TN Champions event. I will raise $500 for Race for the Cure in memory of Kim Wilson, the bravest 5 year fighter I ever knew. I will complete the Race in under an hour (walking) and I will weigh 236 or less by Monday the 26th of October, my final day of T1. This will represent a minimum 36 pound scale weight removal.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

My Daughter. My Godsons. My "Bonus Daughters".
