I had a great surgery experience - all the nurses and the doctors really nice and fun - it was my surgeon's 60th birthday - he told me he wanted to schedule fun surgeries on his 6oth!  I got in earlier than planned, woke up perky and not nauseous at all with some pain which they took care of right away and then was able to really walk ok...honestly with the pain medication it feels better than it did before the surgery!  I need t...

Well, it is still raining, people!!!!!!! Daily Accountability Day 61, March 12

Writing after the fact:Took a partial free day Friday.   M1 oatmeal with protein and raisins; M2 hummus 2 T and red pepper strips; M3 wrap with nonfat refried beans, 1/4 avocado, spinach and 2 T reduced fat cheese and salsa; M4 ate kettle and cheese popcorn and 2 pears. Ended up not going to Dallas. Sorry that did not work out. I just felt I needed the rest to make sure I am ok for the surgery next week, and also not miss more work days. It is a great sunny day, and I have lots of work paperwork to do. I am going to make sure I get outside at least for awhile. Plan for today: Wins: 1. Another great day at work.  We had grade level meetings and looked at data...our students' growth in reading and math ....everyone really engaged.  After school we talked about a great way to teach reading comprehension and we demonstrated it in small groups and not a single negative comment -- everyone totally engaged.
