I Am

I am a single mother of two girls entering their teens whom I love more than life. I am a full time martial arts instructor. I have my struggles in life, as everyone does. A lower weight would make so much of this easier. I have not been kind to my body over the years and the all or nothing attitude that I am ready to give up has really damaged my metabolism. A transformation is exactly what I need. I am ready to give more to myself and others. My daughters deserve it, my students deserve it, and I deserve it.

My Favorite Charity

To me, Transformation Means

Changing in form. Not just in physical form, though that is the most noticed at a glance. A true transformation is from the inside out...mental, spiritual, emotional, and then physical.

My Goals

To regain the muscle I have so rapidly lost, to lose the fat I have so easily found, and to find my way back to being able to practice martial arts without so much pain. More specifically: I will lose 100 lbs. in 2009. To learn to enjoy being me and feel good in this body.

My Intentions

To find my best physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually and empower myself to be more effective and productive in everyday life. It is my full intention to pass on everything I learn through this journey and help others to be their best as well. I intend to lead by an example beyond what I have ever done before. Others have led the way for me to follow. It is my turn to lead the way for others to follow. I intend to do my part in being the change.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

Everyone I come in contact with. I have never met anyone who is happy with everything about themselves. We are all a work in progress until the day we die. we are constantly learning and growing. The main people I hope to inspire are my daughters. I want to be an example of a healthy lifestyle and the importance of taking care of ourselves and others on the inside and out. We can accomplish anything that we are willing to work hard for. A support system makes it easier. I would also like to inspire my students on a whole new level. I want to be the change so they can see the change.
