oh thank you! I cannot believe the parallels. Today I must begin because I also sneak off to smoke and leave my kids at home when they want to tag along. Why do I let smoking or junk food come before my family or happiness? Hiding it in shame instead of addressing it. I know I am strong I need to just see it thru. I tear up every time I watch this, I think it's because I can see myself in you in many areas. I've been depressed at times, and everyone thought I should just snap out of it, but I couldn't and I also was a smoker and chose to sneak around and smoke rather than be with the family. I actually used to take the dogs out quite often, but it wasn't for the exercise it was a stroll and a smoke. I'm happy to say I quit smoking 7 years ago! :) I'm going to do this...YES I CAN! I was puzzled as to why I was falling so hard back into negative behavior patterns and food addiction. Carolynn Having just met you at the New Mexico transformers get together and while selecting photos, and there are a bunch!!, I thought that perhaps I should look at your story. Sort of back way round I suppose , as already knew you were a champion. Awe inspiring what a change you made... I know the weight issue was a big thing for you but honestly, listening to you talk, I think the biggest change was inside. I am so glad I had the chance to meet a real champion. :-)
