At Dallas, Shane spoke about how to get more people to respond to your posts on blogs and forums. He has discussed this before on a forum he started. Shane made some very good points and gave great advice about the things we all need to DO to reach out more to one another. I have had times

You are great! I love a side-splittingly funny guy who is also willing to be vulnerable, transparent. It is a rare combination. I saw your t-shirt as soon as I walked into the Dallas event the first day and knew it would be a good time..... xxoo Jennifer

HI DAVE!!!!!! It was so nice to hear from you (I'm sorry I missed ur phone call. Heck, I just listened to the voicemail earlier this evening, LOL). And thank you so much for the kind words you left on my profile. It was a joy seeing you again in Dallas and such a pleasure to get to know you better. I want you know how proud I am of you for completing the 1/2 in Dallas and what an honor it is to call you 'my friend'. You are such a wonderful person and I so appreciate your 'tell it like it is' mentality. And as for the bus ride on the way back from the marathon..."That's what friends are for". I love ya like crazy!!! ~Lisa

Dave, I want you to know that I meant every single word that I said to you after the marathon. You truly inspire me man. Seeing you come over the line was one of the most inspiring things I've ever seen. You keep moving forward nomatter what. You say that there is no choice, but in reality there is a choice, and a lot of people choose to stop. But you make the choice to keep going. And the way you downplay the significance of it makes me ever more impressed with you. You are extremely humble, and I believe in you 100%. Keep working on the inside. That is the most important. Whatever happens on the physical end will happen. Love you Dave! Cheers, Paul.

I Am

I am a TRANSFORMATION IN PROGRESS! I can truly envision a brighter, happier future because I have seen how far I have already come! I am a more caring, sharing, and loving person for my family, friends, and everyone! I want to be better servant to all.

My Favorite Charity

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) Foundation, pkdcure@pkdcure.org

To me, Transformation Means

A remodeling. All of us are good and have within us greatness. We do not morph into an entirely different being no matter how great we may change both on the outside and the inside. Transformation is not a replacement of one's self because that's not what is needed. No one can replace you. It's a changing, an improving, a strengthening of you.

My Goals

I WILL weigh less than 220 Lbs. by May 16, 2010
I WILL run a Half Marathon in less than 3:00:00 before May 16, 2010
I WILL have a GFR greater than 70 by May 16, 2010
I will have and maintain HbA1c less than 5.6 by May 16, 2010

My Intentions

I WILL follow the Eating-for-Life program
I WILL follow the Body-for LIFE program
I WILL follow the Transformation program and fully immerse myself in to the process of each assignment.
I entered the 2010 Transformation Challenge on Jan. 11, 2010
I WILL deal with the health adversities in my life positively and use my experiences to support and benefit others with health challenges.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

Everyone who can find some thing good about me that would benefit their life. No one that might take from me one of my faults and let it influence them in any negative way.
