Denise, I just picture her dancing now, I don't know why, just a dancing angel with the most beautiful crown that cannot outshine the radiance of her smile.
This young woman has reached into the hearts of countless lives, leaving her imprint and changing us all for the better. I was telling Anna yesterday about how so many flames were lit in the hearts of others because of this girl and the fire of her life. Now she is at a vantage point where hopefully she will get a glimpse of the impact she's had and will continue to have. As a match lights that first candle, as with your community who sang to you last night, it will be go on and on, from one to another because of Jonnae. Hers is a flame that will never be quenched. That is an incredible thing and she, an incredible inspiration. Thank you for sharing her with us.

I didn't watch this until today. 6/9/08 Today Jonnae went to be with God...I cried through the entire video. Life is so precious, she has tought and shown me so much. I feel honored and eternally grateful to have "shared" in her life. What an amazing young woman.

I have to say as I watched this video, I had the biggest lump in my throat and tears streaming down my face. I am praying for you and your family on a daily basis. You and your family have touched so many lives.
Denise, you have one amazing family. Your courage, your strength, and all of the amazing qualities you illuminate are reflective in your children. You have been truly blessed. This whole tribute was filled with so much emotion. I see this 15yr old girl. I think to myself. At 15, I was no where near Jonnae's perspective on life. Her ability to see the gifts of life vs. the struggles is incredible. She has an unbelievable amount of theological power and an endowed ability to translate it into her life. This was so beautiful and heartbreaking. I didn't just cry, I sobbed. Jonnae has taught me so much about my own life. I just wrapped up my 12 week BFL challenge...and her words and smile got me through those last weeks. She was kind of my touchstone of inspiration. She truly is an Angel, sent down from heaven living in human form. We prayed for a miracle to happen for her...but Jonnae herself was the miracle that happened to each of us. Bill, please help Denise get a book deal, if you can. I'm fearful for the day when the videos, Jonnae's story, her blogs, her mother's blogs etc. no longer exist on the internet. I would love to own a copy of their inspiring words so whenever I start feeling sorry for myself, I can remember all this wonderful young lady taught me. If I'm still here 50 years from now, I could see STILL being touched by this Angel on earth.
